Tired of freezing my butt off all the time, I finally did the unthinkable today and turned the heat on. I figured that the few extra bucks in electricity were a trade off for not being taken into the hospital with hypothermia...
Got together with the girls minus one for lunch today. Missed the minus one, but got to talk to her, too, so I'm content. It was stupid for me to make lunch plans when I knew I'd want to go out beforehand also, but I did it anyway because that's what I do.
Picked up a new game, Loaded Questions, and I can't wait to get some people together to play. I anticipate hilarity.

Great. I'm an idiot.
I'm sitting here right now, freezing, waiting to go to an interview for a job that I just plain have no freaking interest in anymore. I should have called them last night and told them that I don't want the stupid thing, but I didn't. So while I should be in bed all nice and warm, I'm sitting here shivering. Ugh. And I've ruined my day off. Double ugh.
Isn't that fun?

I'm back! Back-ish. Well anyhow, I'm about for now. We'll see how long it lasts. All depends, I suppose.
Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well. I expect most of you are. I wish I could say that I knew for sure, but such is the nature of my disappearance. It has prevented me from knowing things I used to always know.
Freaking hell, it is cold here. One more day of this and I'm going to have to turn the heat on, no matter how much I would rather save the money. Either that or I need to make a serious investment in more blankets. Maybe I'll get some use out of this fireplace yet.
I've got a lot of catching up to do. I suppose I ought to get started there. |
